Terms: these terms and conditions governing the access and use of the Website
User: anyone accessing the Website
Website: Illuminate Therapy website and all sub-sites that start illuminatetherapy.co.uk, including its name, branding and all content.

Conditions of use
These Terms shall govern every User’s access and use of the Website. By using the Website, Users confirm that they have read, accept and shall fully comply with these Terms.

The Owner only grants access and use of the Website to Users who have accepted these Terms.  Any User that does not agree to these Terms, shall stop accessing and using the Website

General conditions
Permitted access and use of the Website: Subject to accepting these Terms, Users are permitted to access the Website from a web-browser, caches pages from the Website in a web-browser, and print pages from the Website solely for their own personal use.

Users agree to only use the Website for its intended purpose of providing information about the Owner’s services and making contact to find out further details. 

Communication from Users: Users shall only submit a contact form from the Website contact page if they are aged 18 or over, and shall only share limited personal details in the contact form that relate to themselves or their child, are true and accurate, and only include limited personal details that enable an effective response by the Owner. The User shall refrain from including any extraneous personal information about themselves or anyone else, particularly where this concerns a young person aged under 18.

Users agree not to exploit the Website: Users are not permitted to exploit, profit or take advantage of the Website for their own personal commercial or other gain, whether direct or indirect, including: reusing, reproducing or redistributing anything from the Website; or, selling, licencing or otherwise exploiting the Website.

Users agree not to damage the Website: Users are not permitted to do anything that may cause damage to the Website or the Owner, including: modifying, editing, testing, scanning, tampering with or hacking the Website; using the Website in a way that may damage it or impair its performance, accessibility or availability; taking any actions that may may threaten the security of the Website or its compliance with law and regulation; use the Website, or do anything connected to it, in a way that is illegal, fraudulent or harmful; use the Website to transmit, distribute, publish, host or copy any material containing or relating to a computer virus, spyware, or any other software that is malicious; access or use any data collected from the Website; do anything that damages the reputation of the Website or Owner; or, interfere in anyway with the normal use of the Website.

The Owner is committed to transparency and ethical and appropriate handling and protection of each User’s data.

The Owner asserts ownership over the copyright (© 2025 Kate Blanshard) and all other intellectual property vested in the Website content, branding, trade name and all services offered.

Users are prohibited from copying, reusing, reproducing or redistributing the Owner’s intellectual property in any way, including electronically or digitally.

Services offered
The services advertised on the Website are offered solely and personally by the Owner. The services offered, locations and prices charged may change over time without notice to Users. Users must use the contact form on the Website to confirm details of the services being offered and cannot rely on what is stated in the Website as being accurate at the time. Users accept that the Website is an advert (invitation to treat) not an offer.

Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms will limit or exclude any liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or limits or exclude any liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or limits any other liabilities that are not permitted by law.

The Website is provided free of charge and the Owner shall not be liable for any claimed loss or damage due to the Website, including any loss of corruption of any data, database or software.

All services advertised on the Website are offered “as is” and are dependent on availability.

The Owner will endeavour to ensure the Website is kept up-to-date but shall not be held liable is it is not.

The Owner does not endorse any third-party website, and recommends that Users review external terms and privacy policies of all third parties before using them. The Owner is not responsible for actions that Users take after they have left the Website.

Variation and updates to Terms
From time to time the Owner will revise the Terms, including to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, and best business practices.

The Terms published on the Website at the time of accessing it are the Terms that shall apply to all Users. Users accept that they do not have a right to be notified of revisions to these Terms and that is it the User’s responsibility to check the Terms that apply each time they access and use the Website.
